WireGuard Core Architecture
Fox Accelerator has built a new routing engine based on the WireGuard protocol. WireGuard implements complete accelerator functionality with about 4,000 lines of code, while traditional IPsec requires over 600,000 lines. The leaner code means a smaller attack surface, lower latency, and higher throughput. In our internal tests, the handshake speed of WireGuard was three times faster than IKEv2 and eight times faster than IPsec.
Noise Protocol Framework Encryption
Fox Accelerator's implementation of WireGuard uses the Noise protocol framework for key exchange, utilizing Curve25519 for ECDH key agreement, ChaCha20-Poly1305 for symmetric encryption, and BLAKE2s for hashing. This combination of cryptographic primitives has been widely validated in both academia and industry, providing forward-looking security against quantum computing attacks.
Intelligent Protocol Switching
In certain network environments, WireGuard's UDP traffic may be restricted. Fox Accelerator features an intelligent protocol switching capability that can automatically detect network conditions and seamlessly switch between WireGuard, IKEv2, and our proprietary obfuscation protocol, ensuring stable connections in any environment. The entire switching process completes in under 500 milliseconds and is nearly imperceptible to users.
Multi-Hop and split routing
Fox Accelerator supports multi-hop connections, allowing data to be relayed through two or more acceleration servers, providing an additional layer of privacy for users who require extreme anonymity. Simultaneously, the split routing feature allows you to choose which applications route through the accelerator and which connect directly to the local network, achieving the best balance between performance and security.
AES-256-GCM Encryption Standard
Fox Accelerator uses the AES-256-GCM encryption mode for all transmitted data. AES-256 is the encryption standard approved by the NSA for protecting 'Top Secret' information. Even using the most powerful supercomputers today, it would take billions of years to break. Each connection generates a unique session key, ensuring forward secrecy.
DNS Leak Protection
Fox Accelerator operates its own private DNS server cluster, ensuring all DNS queries are resolved through an encrypted connection to eliminate the risk of DNS leaks. We also incorporate WebRTC leak protection and IPv6 leak protection to ensure your true IP address is never exposed under any circumstance. You can verify the protection status at any time using the built-in leak testing tool.
Kill Switch
Fox Accelerator's network lock feature (Kill Switch) can instantly cut off all internet traffic if your acceleration connection unexpectedly drops, preventing any data from leaking in an unencrypted state. This feature supports both system-level and application-level modes: system-level mode protects all traffic, while application-level mode protects only specified applications, giving users maximum flexibility.
RAM-Only Pure Memory Servers
Fox Accelerator's 3000+ servers run exclusively in pure RAM mode. This means there are no hard drives on the servers, and all data is handled in memory. All data is completely cleared upon each server reboot. Even if a server is physically seized, it is impossible to extract any user data. This represents the highest data protection standards in the industry.
4K Ultra HD Streaming Support
Fox Accelerator’s high-speed nodes have been specially optimized to reliably support the demands of 4K Ultra HD (2160p) video streaming. In our tests, latency when connecting to Asia-Pacific game servers was as low as 10ms, and as low as 60ms to North American servers. P2P and Torrent Download Optimization
Fox Accelerator has enabled P2P optimization features on nodes in over 30 countries. We impose no bandwidth or speed limits on P2P protocols like BitTorrent, while protecting your download activities from ISP monitoring and throttling through encrypted connections.
